Jim Figge first came to Sun Valley during the summer of 1976. Love of the mountains took him from the Midwest to the University of Colorado where he received a Masters Degree in Sports Psychology. Jim and his wife, Barbara, decided to move to Sun Valley full time in 1992. Raising 3 children, Taylor, Roger and Dehner, in the Wood River Valley has been an incredible joy to the couple. Real estate has been Jim's profession since moving to the Wood River Valley. Repeat clients and referrals are a source of Jim's pride in his work. Jim has made significant contributions of his time and talents to the Sawtooth Board of Realtors, chairing many committees and serving three terms as President. Currently Vice president of the Rocky Mountain Resort Alliance of Realtors, a regional pooling of resort realtors who come together to share relevant information, Jim's travels have given him a wealth of knowledge of the other resorts and Sun Valley's unique place amongst them. As the seasons dictate Jim enjoys running, mountain biking and snowboarding as well as visiting the family cabin near Redfish Lake.
